I love my kitten. Her name is Duchess Lila Magnolia Peach. She is a handful, yes; but she is a cute and loving handful. She is currently sitting on my lap as I type.
I have recently purchased cat deterrent spray for my couch and double sided tape for my dining room chairs, because someone is being taught not to scratch furniture. My living room is also now full of cat beds, cat houses, toys, and all the cat accessories that one can imagine. This all being said, she is great test run for having a kid. She requires "stuff," demands attention, yet also provides so much love and affection. We love our Duchess and highly recommend adopting pets from your local animal rescue groups or shelters.
